This was… a strange book. I don’t read much science fiction, but this was an intertwining short read. It took a while to get used to the way that Thea talked, but it wasn’t hard to understand what she was trying to say. I wish this was a fully fleshed out book, so that we could get more backstory about who Thea was and how she became a murderer.
The plot of the adult clones was also interesting. I wish they told us who the woman was that was trying to get the clones to kill Cornelius. It’s odd that Cortez was trying to get the clones to tell Cornelius about what was going on, but then someone else was trying to kill him.
I give this book a 4/5. It was short and sweet, but left you wanting more.
